So since Man of Steel is broad canon to Earth-24, key events like Zod’s message and the Battle of Metropolis happen. And while 24!Bruce is at the beginning of his career and nearly 20 years younger than DCEU!Bruce and therefore in a much better place to process it all, it still shakes him up pretty bad. He’s probably at home when Zod’s message is broadcast, having to comfort a 12/13 year old Dick and tell him everything’s going to be fine when aliens have literally just threatened the Earth. He still charges blindly into the destruction of Metropolis, still pulls employees and little girls out of the rubble. And if he doesn’t look up at the sky with quiet rage, it’s at least trepidation.
He still plans on confronting Superman and still becomes a bit obsessed, though in a far less preparing-to-fucking-murder-him way and a more constantly-reviewing-video-footage-on-dozens-of-monitors-at-once way. To the point that Dick refers to it as “the Superman shrine” and half-jokingly questions the nature of Bruce’s fixation.
For Clark’s part, he’s been researching various urban legends and rumors of individuals with special abilities for years in an attempt to find others like him and has sporadically followed Batman’s budding career. Bruce has only very recently started shedding his “urban legend” status, and Clark’s not entirely sure if “the bat-man” isn’t some kind of mothman-like local cryptid. He entertains vague fantasies of flying by Gotham some night and making a monster buddy.
